Quotation and business enquiries
The quotation form collects your contact name, company name, business email, country and message. You can also provide a telephone number, company registration or VAT number, and destination city. Product-specific requests include the product and requested quantity and unit.
The website stores your request, its reference, submission time and source page so the EU FOODS team can review the enquiry and follow up. Request status changes are recorded in restricted administration. Browsing and submitting a quotation request do not require a customer account.
Please provide only information relevant to your business enquiry. Do not send payment-card details, passwords or identity documents through the form.
Newsletter requests
If you submit a newsletter subscription request, the service records your email address, language, consent and confirmation status, and related dates so the subscription can be managed.
Customer accounts
If you register, EU FOODS stores your contact name, company, business email, optional phone and company registration or VAT number, country, and the versions and times of your Privacy and Terms acceptance. Account credentials, verification and session records are handled by the platform identity service. Your account lets you see quotation requests submitted while signed in; earlier anonymous requests are not automatically linked.
The website may send email verification and password recovery messages to manage account access.
Product Assistant
The Product Assistant uses your current message to search the public catalogue. It keeps limited search context, selected Products, requested quantity and destination in your website session for follow-up questions and quotation handoff. It does not save a conversation transcript. Please keep contact details and sensitive information in the quotation form.
Optional external AI interpretation is disabled by default. If made available, it requires an explicit choice in the assistant before a message is sent for interpretation. Catalogue facts and quotation submission remain controlled by the website.
Cookies and website operation
Some pages use first-party cookies to maintain form and session state and protect form submissions. These include the session cookie and XSRF-TOKEN, a cookie used for protection against cross-site request forgery.
Current session cookie: eu-foods-session.
These cookies support the enquiry and administration journeys. A fresh catalogue-only visit does not require a session cookie. Browser cookie settings can affect form and confirmation behaviour.
Essential session and security cookies continue to operate when you choose Essential only. Optional analytics can operate only after you choose Accept analytics and the website operator enables the analytics service. Google Analytics is the supported optional analytics provider.
Your analytics preference is stored in this browser using first-party local storage. You can change it through Cookie settings. Choosing Essential only withdraws permission for future analytics events and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. If analytics was running, the page reloads to stop it. This does not delete information already sent.
The analytics adapter excludes names, email addresses, phone numbers, company details, quotation references, free-text messages and raw Product Assistant queries. Unrecognized search text is redacted. Essential form and enquiry processing is separate from analytics.
Links to external social networks open those services; their own data handling applies when you visit them.
Before optional analytics is enabled, the website owner and legal reviewer must approve the remaining disclosures about provider arrangements, applicable legal basis, retention, international processing and privacy rights.
Technical and security records
The web server records technical request information, including network address, requested URL, time, response status and browser information. Application diagnostic records help investigate errors and delivery failures. Quotation notification events can include the request reference and delivery outcome.
Quotation records and administration are protected by access controls. Staff administration uses authenticated accounts and session records.
Questions about your information
You can contact EU FOODS to ask about access to, correction or deletion of information you have submitted. Use the contact details above or the Contact page. Include your quotation reference if available so the relevant enquiry can be identified.
