Logistics coordinated around your order
EU FOODS can arrange transport as part of your wholesale order through transport and forwarding companies we work with regularly.
We request current transport offers, agree the price with you and coordinate the process from loading to delivery. Using our transport option is never mandatory — if you prefer to arrange collection with your own carrier or forwarder, you are always free to do so.
How it works
Once your order is confirmed, we look at where the products are located and determine the most practical loading arrangement.
Depending on the order, goods can be collected from our warehouse, directly from a supplier's warehouse or from more than one loading point. We then coordinate the vehicle, loading schedule and delivery details with the parties involved.
Most of the transport we arrange is for full truckloads, where we can usually obtain the most competitive transport offers. Groupage transport for smaller shipments can also be arranged when suitable.
From loading to delivery
When we coordinate the transport, you receive the information you need to follow the shipment, including vehicle details and the expected loading and delivery times.
We stay in contact with the transport partners throughout the journey and keep you informed about the progress of the delivery.
Documentation included
EU FOODS prepares the documentation required for the shipment and coordinates it with the loading point and transport company.
